Important Instructions for Candidate

  1. Candidate is to read the advertisement carefully and comply with the same at all stages of recruitment.
  2. Candidate to make sure that he is eligible to apply for CGEPT – 02/2023 batch as per the eligibility criterion mentioned in advertisement.
  3. Candidate to read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and common reasons for rejection during document verification.
  4. Candidate to prepare a scanned copy of all the documents required for upload in online application as per advertisement
  5. Candidate to comply with various instructions during filling of online application form.
  6. Candidates to read the guidelines for filling of online application form along with various examples to fill name/father’s name/ mother’s name/date of birth/ Identity card no. in the online application. Click here for various examples.
  7. Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI. E-admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and who are entitled for waiver of examination fee.
  8. The date of issue of all uploaded documents {SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/EWS/Mark sheets/Education Certificates} ‘during online application’ and ‘document uploaded on being shortlisted for Stage-II’ has to be 16 Feb 23 (closing date of application) or any date prior to 16 Feb 23 (closing date of application) and the validity of all the documents has to be at least up to 31 Dec 23 during document verification.
  9. All Documents uploaded must be in Hindi or English. Candidate to upload both original and English translation of document if the document is in any language other than English or Hindi.
  10. Candidates are to upload the correct document as directed in the online application form. Non-upload/ wrong upload/ interchanged upload of the document in online application will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  11. Non-upload/wrong upload/interchanged upload of the additional documents prior Stage-II will also lead to cancellation of candidature during document verification at Stage-II, Stage-III and Stage-IV.
  12. The candidate must remember his mobile number and e-mail id entered by him during filling of the online application as the correspondence with the candidate will be through e-mail id or ICG website only. Post submitting the application, the candidate will see the e-mail id and mobile number only in encrypted form. No request for retrieving the e-mail or mobile number will be entertained. If candidate forgets his e-mail id, he will not be able to log in to his dashboard on ICG website, thereby, he will not be able to download e-admit cards for various stages of recruitment.
  13. Uploading of documents/additional documents is restricted upto downloading of E-admit card for Stage-II. No documents can be uploaded by the candidate after downloading Stage-II E-admit card. Failure of uploading of documents within the time promulgated by ICG will lead to the cancellation of the candidature of candidate. Any request for uploading new document after downloading of E-admit card for Stage-II will not be entertained.
  14. Uploaded SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/ EWS certificate to comply with the instructions given in the advertisement regarding the format of certificate as per the format for appointment to the posts under Government of India. If the candidature of SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/ EWS category candidates is cancelled on account of incorrect category document then the candidate will not be considered against unreserved vacancy as the candidate has submitted false information.
  15. Candidate can edit their application details & uploaded documents before preview submission.
  16. Candidate to re-check their application during preview carefully and submit application accordingly.
  17. Candidate are advised to use Google Chrome browser (version 85 & above) for better viewing experience.
  18. Date of birth being the most important criteria is to be filled correctly as per the all original documents. Nil relaxation will be provided in case of filling of incorrect date of birth or any mismatch in date of birth with the original documents.

Note: Non-compliance of above instructions will lead to cancellation of candidature.

  1. अभ्यर्थी विज्ञापन ध्यान से पढ़ें तथा भर्ती के सभी चरणों में इसका अनुपालन करें |

  2. अभ्यर्थियों को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा की वह विज्ञापन में उल्लिखित पात्रता मानदंड के अनुसार सीजीईपीटी -02/2023 बैच के लिए आवेदन के योग्य हैं|

  3. अभ्यर्थी अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न (एफएक्यु) तथा दस्तावेज सत्यापन के दौरान अस्वीकृति के सामान्य कारणों को पढ़ें|

  4. अभ्यर्थी ऑनलाइन आवेदन में अपलोड करने के लिए विज्ञापन के अनुसार आवश्यक सभी दस्तावेजों की स्कैन कॉपी तैयार करें|

  5. अभ्यर्थी ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरते समय विभिन्न निर्देशों का पालन करें|

  6. अभ्यर्थी ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरने के लिए दिशा निर्देश के साथ ही साथ नाम/पिता का नाम/ माता का नाम/ जन्मतिथि/ पहचान पत्र संख्या आदि भरने के विभिन्न उदाहरणों को पढ़ना चाहिए| विभिन्न उदाहरणों के लिए यहाँ क्लिक करें|

  7. अभ्यर्थियों (अजा/अजजा के अभ्यर्थियों को छोड़कर, जिन्हें शुल्क के भुगतान से छूट दी गई है) को नेट बैंकिंग अथवा वीजा/मास्टर/मैस्ट्रो/रुपे क्रेडिट/डेबिट कार्ड/यूपीआई का उपयोग करके ऑनलाइन माध्यम से रु. 300 (केवल तीन सौ रूपए) शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा| परीक्षा के लिए ई प्रवेश पत्र केवल उन्हीं अभ्यर्थियों को जारी किए जाएंगें जिन्होनें परीक्षा शुल्क का सफलतापूर्वक भुगतान किया है अथवा जो अभ्यर्थी परीक्षा शुल्क में छुट के हकदार हैं |

  8. ऑनलाइन आवेदन के दौरान अपलोड किए गए सभी दस्तावेज { अजा/अजजा/अपिव (नॉन क्रीमी लेयर)/ ईडब्ल्युएस/ अंकतालिका /शैक्षणिक प्रमाण पत्र } तथा स्टेज-IIके लिए शोर्टलिस्ट किए जाने पर अपलोड किए जाने वाले दस्तावेजों के जारी किए जाने की तिथि 16 फरवरी 23 (आवेदन की अंतिम दिनांक) या 16 फरवरी 23 (आवेदन की अंतिम दिनांक)से पूर्व की कोई दिनांक होनी चाहिए| तथा दस्तावेज सत्यापन के दौरान सभी दस्तावेजों की वैधता कम से कम 31 दिसंबर 23 तक होनी चाहिए|

  9. अपलोड किए गए सभी दस्तावेज हिंदी या अंग्रेजी में होने चाहिए| यदि दस्तावेज हिंदी या अंग्रेजी के अलावा किसी अन्य भाषा में है, तो अभ्यर्थी को मूल दस्तावेज तथा उसका अंग्रेजी अनुवाद दोनों अपलोड करना होगा|

  10. अभ्यर्थियों को निर्देशों के अनुसार ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र में सही दस्तावेज अपलोड करना होगा| ऑनलाइन आवेदन में अपलोड नहीं करना/ गलत अपलोड करना/किसी विशेष दस्तावेज के स्थान पर कोई अन्य दस्तावेज अपलोड करना अभ्यर्थिता रद्द करने का कारण बनेगा |

  11. स्टेज-II से पूर्व, अतिरिक्त दस्तावेज अपलोड न करना/गलत अपलोड/किसी विशेष दस्तावेज के स्थान पर कोई अन्य दस्तावेज अपलोड करना स्टेज-II, स्टेज-III, तथा स्टेज-IV में भी दस्तावेज सत्यापन के दौरान अभ्यर्थिता रद्द करने का कारण बनेगा |

  12. अभ्यर्थी को ऑनलाइन आवेदन भरते समय स्वयं द्वारा दिया गया अपना मोबाईल नंबर तथा ई-मेल आईडी याद रखना चाहिए, क्योंकि अभ्यर्थी के साथ पत्राचार केवल ई-मेल आईडी या आईसीजी वेबसाईट के माध्यम से किया जाएगा| आवेदन जमा करने के पश्चात अभ्यर्थी केवल एनाक्रिप्तेड रूप में ई-मेल आईडी तथा मोबाईल नंबर देख सकेंगे| ई-मेल आईडी या मोबाईल नंबर पुन: प्राप्त करने के किसी भी अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा| यदि अभ्यर्थी अपनी ई-मेल आईडी भूल जाता है, तो वह आईसीजी की वेबसाईट पर अपने डैशबोर्ड में लॉगिन नहीं कर सकेगा जिस कारण वह भर्ती के विभिन्न चरणों के लिए ई-प्रवेश पत्र डाउनलोड नहीं कर सकेगा |

  13. स्टेज-II के लिए ई-प्रवेश पत्र डाउनलोड करने तक हीदस्तावेजों/अतिरिक्त दस्तावेजों को अपलोड करना किया जा सकेगा| स्टेज-II के लिए ई-प्रवेश पत्र डाउनलोड करने के बाद अभ्यर्थी कोई दस्तावेज अपलोड नहीं कर सकेंगे| भारतीय तटरक्षक द्वारा प्रख्यापित समय के भीतर दस्तावेज अपलोड करने में विफल रहने पर अभ्यर्थी की अभ्यर्थिता रद्द कर दी जाएगी| स्टेज-II के लिए ई-प्रवेश पत्र डाउनलोड करने के पश्चात नए दस्तावेज अपलोड करने के किसी भी अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा|

  14. अपलोड किया गया अजा/अजजा/अपिव (नॉन क्रीमी)/ईडब्ल्युएस प्रमाण पत्र भारत सरकार के अधीन पदों पर नियुक्ति हेतु श्रेणी प्रमाण पत्र के प्रारूप के अनुसार विज्ञापन में दिए गए निर्देशों के अनुपालन में होना चाहिए | यदि अजा/अजजा/अपिव (नॉन क्रीमी)/ईडब्ल्युएस श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों की अभ्यर्थिता श्रेणी संबंधित गलत दस्तावेज के कारण रद्द की जाती है, तो उस अभ्यर्थी के बारे में अनारक्षित रिक्ति के लिए विचार नहीं किया जाएगा क्योंकि अभ्यर्थी ने गलत जानकारी प्रस्तुत की है|

  15. अभ्यर्थी अपने आवेदन विवरण तथा अपलोड किए गए दस्तावेजों को प्रीव्यु प्रस्तुत करने से पहले संपादित कर सकेंगे|

  16. अभ्यर्थी प्रिव्यु के दौरान अपने आवेदन की दोबारा जांच करें एवं तदनुसार आवेदन जमा करें|

  17. अभ्यर्थियों को देखने के बेहतर अनुभव के लिए गूगल क्रोम ब्राउजर (वर्जन 85 और उससे ऊपर) का उपयोग करने की सलाह दी जातीहै |

  18. जन्मतिथि सबसे महत्वपूर्ण मानदंड होने के कारण सभी मूल दस्तावेजों के अनुसार सही ढंग से भरी जानी चाहिए| गलत जन्मतिथि भरने या जन्मतिथि एवं मूल दस्तावेजों में कोई भिन्नता होने की स्थिति में कोई छूट प्रदान नहीं की जाएगी|

नोट: उपर्युक्त निर्देशों का अनुपालन नहीं करने पर अभ्यर्थी की अभ्यर्थिता रद्द कर दी जाएगी|

  4. In case of two or more candidates scores same marks in Stage-I, then ICG will be calculating the percentage of the candidates as per the tie breaking rule mentioned in CGEPT advertisement.
  5. In case of tie breaking rule as per the CGEPT advertisement of batch 02/2023, the aggregate percentage will be calculated by ICG on the basis of top five scoring subjects as promulgated by the respective Board of education/University and the conversation formula for converting the CGPA/GPA into percentage as uploaded by the candidate prior Stage-II.

  1. Passport size recent colour photograph (should not be older than three months prior to the date of opening of application) (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs).
  2. The photographs is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
  3. File must be in .jpeg / .jpg format and file size should be between 10KB to 100KB.
  4. The photograph should be without cap, spectacles and both ears should be visible.
  5. While uploading Photo / Signature / Thumb image, file nomenclature should be as follows:
    • Passport photograph: Passport_Photograph
    • Scanned signature image: Signature
    • Left hand thumb impression image: Thumb_Impression
  6. Any discrepancy or anomaly in clarity of images of uploaded documents in the online application will lead to cancellation of candidature.

Candidate can give up to 05 choices
Candidates are to fill first choice within 30 Kms from the present/ communication residence. In case if no centre is available within 30 kms then the other choices should be nearest to the present/ communication address.

Note: - If candidates are not complying with the First Choice of Centre as above then their Candidature may be cancelled if found contrary during Document Verification.

(Option of choice(s) filling will preferably be from the zone of domicile of candidate as per the list of zones provided above. If the candidate is from a zone where more than one city is available for Stage II examination, then he shall choose as per his preference only among the test cities of that zone. However, after the cities of zone of domicile are filled, candidate can choose any city across India)
