  • ICG also coordinates evacuation of patients suffering from life threatening medical conditions from ships at sea. ICG ships and aircraft respond to such emergencies and provide medical support to the patient and evacuate them, if required, for admission in hospitals ashore.

  • Casualty Evacuation, also known as CASEVAC is a military term for the emergency patient evacuation of casualties from a combat zone. CASEVAC can be done by both ground and air.
