Common reasons of rejection during document verification at all Stages of Recruitment is as follows:

  1. Name of candidate in the application/E-admit card is not as per Class 10thcertificate, 12th Certificate, Diploma certificate, Identity card, SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate and any other certificate as submitted/uploaded in the online application.
  2. Date of Birth of candidate in the application/E-admit card is not as per Class 10thcertificate, 12th certificate, Diploma certificate, Identity card, SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate and any other certificate as submitted/uploaded in the online application.
  3. Father Name of candidate in the application/E-admit card is not as per Class 10thcertificate, 12th certificate, Diploma certificate, Identity card, SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate and any other certificate as submitted/uploaded in the online application.
  4. Non submission of required original documents.
  5. Expired Caste certificate {SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC (Non-creamy layer)}.
  6. SC/ST/OBC (Non- creamy layer)/EWS certificate not as per format promulgated on ICG website for appointment to the posts under Government of India.
  7. Educational document issued by unauthorized board/ university.
  8. Wrong Category (SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ EWS/ UR) mentioned in application form by the candidate and not duly supported with documents.
  9. The marks for each subject mentioned in the application not matching with the supporting documents submitted by the candidates. Thereby, leading to false information in the application form. False information in application leads to cancellation of candidature.
  10. Photograph in the application form does not match with the candidate appearing for the examination.
  11. Signature in the application/ E-admit card does not match at the time of written examination and further stages of verification at designated exam centre.
  12. Not in possession of original valid proof of identity such as passport or driving license or Aadhar card or Voter I-Card or PAN Card as uploaded/submitted in the online application during various stages of recruitment.
  13. Not in possession of coloured print out of online application and E-admit card.
  14. For Navik (GD), if the candidate is declared as Fail in Maths and Physics even if the candidate is declared as pass in Class 12th by the respective board.
  15. Not meeting the age criteria as mentioned in the advertisement for the said post.
  16. Mismatch of the biometric impression at various stages of recruitment with the biometric captured during Stage- I (Written examination).
  17. Non-reporting on the day/ time of Stage-I, Stage-II and Stage-III.
  18. The issue date of all the document uploaded prior downloading E-admit card for Stage-II is after the closing date of application.
  19. Non submission of ‘expired & renewed’ category certificates (ST/ SC/ EWS/ OBC( Non-creamy layer) at Stage-II & Stage-III.
  20. The Xerox copy of document submitted during Stage-II not matching with the documents uploaded in the online application.
  21. Mismatch in the candidate’s name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Identity card number in the identity card and the details as submitted in online application.
  22. The documents uploaded in online application are not correct or uploaded incorrectly or uploaded interchanged documents. For example uploading Class 10th pass certificate in place of uploading of Class 12th pass certificate.
  23. The Class 10th pass certificate number not matching with the details submitted in online application.
  24. Any mismatch in information as provided in online application and supporting documents.
  25. Any other discrepancy/ mismatch in Certificates and information in the application form.
  26. Any false declaration in the application.
  27. Uploading of documents/additional documents is restricted till prior downloading E-admit card for Stage-II of examination. No additional documents can be uploaded by the candidate after downloading E-admit card of Stage-II examination. It is to be clearly understood that any request for uploading any additional document during Stage-II document verification will not be entertained. Failure to upload correct documents, prior downloading E-admit card for Stage-II, will lead to the cancellation of the candidature of candidate.
  28. Any directives not complied by the candidate mentioned on ICG website, the CGEPT advertisement and instructions prior filling of the online application for the particular batch.
