Important Instructions for Candidate

  1. Candidate is advised to use Google Chrome browser (version 85 & above) for better viewing experience.

  2. Candidate is to read the advertisement carefully and comply with the same at all stages of recruitment.

  3. Candidate to make sure that he is eligible to apply for CGEPT – 02/2024 batch as per the eligibility criterion mentioned in advertisement.

  4. Candidate to read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and common reasons for rejection during document verification.

  5. Candidate to comply with various instructions during filling of online application form.

  6. Candidate is to re-check their application details and uploaded documents carefully during preview option and if required, can do the necessary correction before final submission. Once the application form is submitted, no addition or alteration can be done in application form.

  7. In case of multiple applications received from a candidate, then the latest filled application will be accepted. However, the exam fees for the previously filled application will not be refunded.

Note: Non-compliance of above instructions will lead to cancellation of candidature.

  5. अभ्यर्थी ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरते समय विभिन्न निर्देशों का पालन करें|

  6. अभ्यर्थी को प्रीव्यू ऑप्शन के दौरान अपने आवेदन विवरण, तथा अपलोड किए गए दस्तावेजों को सावधानीपूर्वक दोबारा जांच लेना चाहिए और यदि आवश्यकता हो, तो अंतिम जमा (फाइनल सबमिशन) से पहले आवश्यक संशोधन कर सकते हैं| एक बार आवेदन पत्र जमा होने के पश्चात कुछ जोड़ना या बदलाव नहीं किया जा सकता है |

  7. एक अभ्यर्थी द्वारा एक से अधिक आवेदन प्राप्त होने की स्थिति में, नवीनतम भरा गया आवेदन स्वीकार किया जाएगा| हालाँकि पूर्व में भरे गए आवेदनों का परीक्षा शुल्क लौटाया नहीं जाएगा|

9 Generate OTP A separate OTP will be sent on e-mail id as well as Mobile (Via SMS) Candidate needs to fill up the same Email OTP is mandatory, if user inputs both OTP email and mobile no. then both will be verified for successful registration.
10 OTP On Email Id* : Enter OTP received on Provided Email id
11 OTP on SMS: Enter OTP received on Provided Mobile Number

REGISTRATION PART-II (Reset Password)
14 If registering first time as a new candidate Sign-In with the registered Email ID and system generated Password received on email ID

I, the holder of the above mentioned Aadhaar Number, hereby give my consent to Indian Coast Guard to obtain my Aadhaar Number, Name and Finger Print for authentication with UIDAI. I have no objection using my identity and biometric information for validation with Aadhaar (CIDR) database only for the purpose of authentication.

Two different identification marks such as birthmark, mole and burn/injury mark is to be entered as text.
29 Category/Community * : Select Unreserved/ EWS/ OBC(Non-Creamy)/ SC/ ST (selection box may pop-up to select category/ community)
For EWS/ OBC(Non-Creamy)
  1. Candidates belonging to OBC but coming in the ‘Creamy layer’ are to apply as unreserved candidate.
  2. OBC/EWS certificate shall be as per Govt. of India format (No other format will be entertained).
  3. OBC/EWS candidate availing their respective quota, must ensure that valid category certificate should have been issued (date of issue) on or before the closing date of application.
    The EWS certificate will be valid for one financial year. Only the latest/updated EWS certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Validity of OBC/EWS certificate has to be atleast upto 28 Feb 2025.

For SC/ ST
  1. SC/ST candidate availing their respective quota, must ensure that valid category certificate should have been issued (date of issue) on or before the closing date of application.

[SC /ST /OBC Candidates claiming relaxation must ensure that certificates should have been issued earlier than the closing date.
Validity of the Community certificate* (If applicable) : Calendar displayed to select Date. Documents whose validity is expiring prior reporting for next phase are to report at the examination center with renewed valid documents.
Note:
  1. If validity is mentioned on category certificate then enter the validity date as per category certificate.
  2. If no validity date is mentioned on category certificate, then certificate is considered valid for an indefinite period.
30 Date Of Birth (DOB) * : (Respective calendar block will get enable, as per previous selection) Calendar displayed to select the DOB

Non acceptance of dates beyond the dates prescribed in advertisement.
System should not allow pop-up and declares you are not eligible.
DOB for each category candidate i.e. Unreserved/EWS, OBC, SC/ST will be refer as per advertisement for that particular batch.

Candidates are to fill first choice within 30 Kms from the present/ communication residence. In case if no centre is available within 30 kms then the other choices should be nearest to the present/ communication address.
